Dr Les Trudzik – Chairman
Les has been an advisor to public and private sector organisations for over fifteen years assisting performance improvement through strategy and policy formulation, business transformation and change programs, through review and design of core business processes, and through organisational performance measurement and modelling.
This work is founded on a Ph.D in operations research where Les first developed skills in applying mathematical and systems modelling to complex systems. Les has also developed a sound understanding of the important roles of people, technology, infrastructure and change management in enabling organisational performance and the achievement of strategic and operational objectives.
Les has a track record of applying strong conceptual thinking to solve organizational issues and as result has been an active member of numerous international thought leadership initiatives, including methodology development for Business Performance Improvement and ICT Strategy. Les is also collaborating on the development of approaches for measuring the value of intangibles such as innovation, intellectual capital, reputation and relationships, and identifying their contribution to organisational performance.
Les began his career in the utilities sector before taking on senior professional services roles. Prior to joining the Allen Consulting Group, Les held partner and executive director positions within KPMG and Bearing Point. In the past decade, Les has worked extensively with the Justice, Health, and Education sectors developing organizational strategies, conducting policy reviews and program evaluations, and performing organisational performance assessments.
Les holds current appointments as Chair of the Industry Advisory Group, Faculty of Science at the University of Melbourne, is a Founding Member of the School Advisory Board for School of Network Computing at Monash University, and as a Member of the In2Science Advisory Board.
