Monash University will provide new strengths to the consortium through access to a number of established and new initiatives. The facility will provide services for Victorian researchers and provide valuable ties to the VBC (bioinformatics), the Australian Synchrotron, Australian Stem Cell Centre (ASCC), Neuroscience Victoria (NV) , the Centre for Vascular Health (CVH) and others. In addition, the Monash Biomedical Proteomics Facility will support the establishment and enhancement of the MATF through protein and antigen determination, providing a single port of call for Australian researchers requiring monoclonal antibodies for on going research and development efforts.
