NSW OHMR Bioinformatics Training
The Bioinformatics Training Program is a capacity building program that delivers bioinformatics training to NSW and ACT-based researchers, clinicians, health professionals and academics.
The program aims to enhance research outcomes through hands-on training workshops that will improve the analysis and interrogation of genomic datasets. The program is a response to current skill needs in health and medical research and will seek to meet emerging bioinformatics training needs with new workshops and skilled instructors.
The initiative is funded by the NSW Office for Health and Medical Research and is a key element of the NSW Government’s strategy to build bioinformatics, and health and medical research capability in NSW.
Clinical Genomics Research Resource
The Clinical Genomics Research Resource aims to introduce clinicians and clinician-researchers to genomics research and to familiarise researchers and reviewers with key considerations for conducting clinical genomics research.
The online resource was launched in May 2018 and can be accessed on the Centre for Genetics Education NSW Health website homepage or at: http://www.genetics.edu.au/
